SEO & SEM
What is SEO & SEM?
Search Engine Optimization (commonly abbreviated to SEO) involves tuning your web site to improve it's ranking within un-paid search engine results. The goal is to not only increase the number of visitors directed to your site, but also the quality of visitors. High quality visitors are those who are specifically looking for information related to your business; they will be more likely to explore further pages within your site and become customers. SEO tuning may include changes to individual pages on your site as well as creating and improving links to and from your site.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM), involves paying to place your web site in search results. SEO can be a lengthy process from implementation to visible results. Search engines typically require several months before the affect of changes appears in search rankings. SEM results are immediate, but there is a per Search Engine fee such as pay per click and pay per context. SEO and SEM projects can be labor intensive and as a result somewhat expensive, however the revenue increase attributable to the increased volume and quality of search engine driven visitors can be huge. Online search engines are fast becoming the first and only method used by customers to research potential suppliers. Shore Fx can work with you on SEO and SEM projects.

Detailed Site Review with SEO Emphasis
Shore Fx can perform a detailed review of your site with an emphasis on features that impact search engine results. This includes a thorough analysis of every page on your site including:
- Page titles
- Page descriptions
- Page keywords (metadata)
- Page content arrangement and quality
- Intra and inter-site links originating from your web site pages
- Number and quality of external links to your web site
- Review of web site analytics data if available; keywords, bounce rate etc.
The results are clearly documented for you to review. Recommended solutions are prioritized so you can easily decide which items should be addressed first. During a detailed site review we develop a thorough understanding of what your site is and how it works. Subsequent SEO maintenance quotes are typically lower, recognizing that we have a lower learning curve to implement changes on your web site.
