The Daily Show with Jon Stewart correspondent Aasif Mandvi brings audiences behind the scenes of the hit primetime news satire. He shows how the writers and correspondents analyze the best and worst of each day's news to bring you hilarious insight into the often ridiculous world of politics and international relations.
Shore FX partnered with Hettenbach Graphic Design to create fakenewsguy.com. We were challenged to design and create a web site within a relatively tight time window so that the announcement of the live web site could coincide with another event. We met this challenge, working closely with the customer to expedite domain setup, content submission and development within a 13 day duration from idea to live. We continued to work closely with the show sponser after the initial site was published, adding embedded videos and support for online ticket purchases.
To coincide with the new web site Shore FX worked with the show sponser to create a special Facebook page for the event. This allows the sponsor to leverage social networking - a key tool to attract the audience demographic expected to attent the show. Shore FX implemented FBML code to add a custom ticketing tab on the Facebook page.
